Her Pictures

These photographs represent a selection among more than 2000 stereotypes which we carried out together, the model and me the Photographer, during approximately two years. They were taken in Toulouse in studio, in the rocks of Sidobre, with the Palladia hotel, the castle of Herm, in a hurdy-gurdy machines but also in an elevator the night in Toulouse.

We primarily do not seek to make aesthetic photographs, the naked academic one with veils or agreed installations did not interest us much, even if we made some sometimes. The series " Improvisation Intimate " (30 photographs of naked impromptu in studio) concerned already a dynamic step with a personal implication of the model very strong.

But in this work we sought to explore situations and settings in scene. That implies a great confidence between the participants. Each one brings its ideas, its sensitivity, its culture. Me photographer I am there to support this expression, to guide it, direct it and lead it until the limits, to memorize it while playing with the light and the technique.

In this kind of picture, it is really the conjunction of our two personalities which is expressed at the point to know more with exactitude which had the idea of what. My goal is of suggest and to leave to the witness a broad imaginary field. The woman is not an ideal and unfleshed model, she expresses the sensuality, the beauty, the desire, loneliness too. My pictures call upon phantasms generally hidden in us and on whom we easily do not like to express us...

These pictures which took part in contests,publications and exposures; it is initially for HER that I want to show them. To carry them out she succeeded in overcoming its timidity and keeping a great decency even in the strongest expressions. So some of these photographs shock you, look at them with the same respect that I always wanted to keep with respect to Her.
